and out of the bay. From shallow 5 meter shore entry reefs
to beautiful reefs outside the bay on 25 meters by boat. Rays,
Sharks, Turtles, Nudibranches and loads of different fish species.

Great White Shark Cage Diving can be done in Mossel Bay.

this makes it a great location to view these majestic and magnificent
creatures that we know so little about. Come and enjoy your
day with a boat trip to Seal Island and doing some brave cage
diving. No qualification needed. |

You can see Africa's Big Five at Botlierskop, a 15 minute
drive from Mossel Bay Sea Shells! .Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo,
Lion and Leopard can bee seen. Various option from Nature Walks
to Quad Bike Adventures to full Game Driving. Botlierskop also
has it's own buffet restaurant and serves Breakfast, Lunch
and Supper. |

Wine Tasting can be done on various routes in the Garden
Route and Mossel Bay area. Ask your hosts Jan and Lynette for
details on the different options available. Calitzdorp, a hour's
drive away, is well known for it's Port. |

| Bungy Jumping with Face Adrenalin |
|
Bungy Jumping for the adrenalin rush seekers!!
Gouritz Bridge is a 35km scenic drive from Mossel Bay and has
a 65 meter jump. Bridge Swining can also be done here. A 2
hour drive through the beautiful Garden Route will take you
to the Bloukrans Bungy site, the highest commercial bungy in
the world with a masive 218 meters fall and 8 second free fall! |

|
Mossel Bay is a beautiful
country, offering some of the most beautiful scenery, landscapes
and sights in the world. Undoubtedly there could be few better
ways to observe these marvels, than from high up in the sky.
Helicopter flights and flips in Mossel Bay allow you the
joys of a bird’s
eye-view of the beauty that Mossel Bay has to offer. A
scenic flight offers the opportunity to view a vast area
in a relatively short space of time. |

Boat trips to Mossel Bay's
Seal Island can be taken hourly from the harbor. Romantic sunset
cruises can also be done every evening when the weather permits
it. The Cape Fur Seal, Sharks, Dolphins and in season Whales
can be seen from the boat. This is a fun and educating trip
viewing not only the animals, but also to see Mossel Bay from
another angle. Deep sea fishing can also be done and there
are several operators that operate daily from the harbor. |

Dolphins are common in the area and can almost be seen daily
from our shore and boat trip operators. Whales can also be
spotted in season time ( July - August ) when the come to our
bay to breed in the shallows. Amazing Orcas ( Killer Whales
) have been reported in our bay and it seems they are coming
deeper in to the bay every year! |

Inside the Maritime Museum is a shop
where postcards, stamps, books, souvenirs and small gifts
can be bought. If you would like a tour guide to accompany
you, it needs to be arranged prior to your visit. If a tour
group would like to visit the museum before or after business
hours, this must be arranged with reception prior to your
visit. In the grounds of the Dias Museum Complex are four
mountain tortoises, ducks and two museum cats. In the Granary
there are conference facilities available for 48 people or
if used in cinema style, seating for up to 100 people. Catering
can be arranged. Mail from the shoe is collected twice a
day by the Post Office. Whales can be observed from the museum
grounds during June to November |

We invite
you and the whole family to pay us a visit and explore the
facts and fiction surrounding crocodiles, view elegant cheetahs
and giggle at the antics of our Bengal tiger cubs. For the
adventurous we offer face to face encounters with wildlife
in our Natural Encounters programe where you can touch a
cheetah, enjoy the closeness of a tiger cub, wrap yourself
in a python and even dive with Nile crocodiles. |

| 29km from Oudtshoorn,
at the head of the picturesque Cango Valley, lies the
spectacular underground wonder of the Klein Karoo -
the Cango Caves. Situated in a limestone ridge parallel
to the well known Swartberg Mountains, you will find
the finest dripstone caverns, with their vast halls and towering
formations.
Cango Caves is the only show cave in Africa which offers a choice
of Standard (easy) or Adventure Tours. All tours are lead by
experienced, knowledgeable and accredited Caves Guides. |

N2 highway halfway between Cape Town and Port Elizabeth,
overlooks the warm waters of the Indian Ocean and boasts
24 kilometers of unspoilt beaches including two north-facing
beaches. |
